How the scholarship works:

Dance Box is pleased to award two scholarships every year. Applications in the form of a written essay are invited from both junior and senior dancers. The scholarships will be awarded to the junior and senior dancer who displays the most creativity in their essay.

Senior Division Scholarship:

$750.00 cash and a $250.00 gift card to Dance Box.

Junior Division Scholarship:

$200.00 cash and a $100.00 gift card to Dance Box.

Our Review Board:

Each essay will be reviewed by a diverse panel of adjudicators. In the interest of fairness and unbiased selection, your essay will not identify your name or the studio you attend. This way the review panel will make their final selections based only on the creative presentation of your essay. So, be sure to follow the criteria, add your personality, and most of all, have fun with it! We look forward to reading your essays.

Where to submit your scholarship essay:

Scholarship essay drop-off’s can be done in-person at either the Coquitlam or Langley  store locations.  Winners will be announced on Russ' birthday, April 17th.
